Three-Day Weekend Fun

Wow, how is it Wednesday already?  The boys had a day off from school because it was a teacher in-service day so we had a 3-day weekend.  And a couple of storms blew in so it's starting to feel fall-ish.

Saturday was rainy and wet so Michael's game got cancelled.  We had planned on going to the pumpkin patch, but it was wet and muddy so we cancelled that trip as well. We didn't do anything really.  The boys plead with their friends and we watched football.

We went to Korean barbecue for dinner.  The kids love Korean food - well, the short ribs and the brisket.  I love all the pickled stuff. Delicious! After dinner we walked over to Yogurtland for some frozen yogurt.

When we got home, I made myself some tea and watched TV with M while the boys played upstairs. Perfect end to a nice cool day.

Oh, and I got these flowers from my sweet in-laws for my birthday.  They are in Italy so it was a nice  surprise and so sweet of them to think of me.

Matthew had team pictures for baseball on Sunday and then a game afterwards.  We stopped by the Burger Shack to get him a burger so he wouldn't be starving during the game.  How cue is this little boy?

He's posing for his individual picture here.

Then he had some deep conversation with his teammates while he waited for others to finish up with pictures.

His team lost by a lot, and the game was a bit hard to sit through, but at least I didn't have to chase after Mark.  He was with M at Michael's soccer practice.

We didn't do much on Monday either because it was wet and rainy in the morning and very very windy the rest of the day.  The boys were in and out playing with friends.

I took Mark out to play and ride his tricycle outside for about an hour or so. Oh, and we went to pick out pumpkins at the grocery store since we haven't been able to make it to the pumpkin patch.
